The 2007 blockbuster Malayalam film, Big B was directed and co-written by Amal Neerad. It was widely acclaimed for its awesome songs and cinematography with its intense fight sequences. It had the starcast of superstar Mamootty, Manoj K Jayan, Nafisa Ali, Bala and Mamta Mohandas. The songs of this film were superhits and Alphons introduced famous hindi playback singer Shreya Ghosal into Malayalam film industry through the song Vidaparayukayano.
